The minimum rental period for any apartment is 2 nights unless agreed to between the two parties. To confirm reservations the applicable tariff shall be fully paid in advance at the time of booking.
When booking via this website the method of payment is by credit or debit cards: cards accepted are Visa and MasterCard which are subject to a bank surcharge of 3%.
Once a credit card is lodged payment can also be made by WeChat.
All prices quoted are in NZ dollars.
Bond: For all bookings up to three months a credit card is required to be lodged with Quinovic Viaduct in lieu of a cash bond. This card is held in our system for the entire time of your stay and automatically deleted from the system ten days after departure. Stays of over three months require a bond equal to 4 weeks rent which is held by the NZ Bond Centre.
Utilities: Accommodation charges include a monthly allowance of power to the value of:
$120 for studios and one bedroom apartments,
$150 for two bedroom apartments.
$180 for three bedroom apartments.
There is also a monthly allowance of $50 per apartment where gas is connected.
All apartments have unlimited wifi available for up to 10 devices.
Any extra utility charges will be invoiced monthly once these bills are received.
Additional charges relating to other services such as extra cleaning for excessively dirty apartments upon departure, lost keys, or damage caused during occupation will be debited to the credit card which has been submitted for bond unless suitable arrangements have been made with Quinovic Viaduct.
By booking this apartment/townhouse/house (accommodation) I understand that if I default in my payment obligations to Quinovic Viaduct the information about that default may be given to Veda Advantage and other debt collection agencies whom may give that information about the default to other Veda Advantage customers or other Debit Collection Agencies. If at the end of the tenancy there is a debt owed by the tenant then the tenant agrees to be liable for any costs of recovery of the outstanding debt, which includes the collection costs by the debt collection agency, legal fees, court filing fees and any disbursements.
For a 50% refund, cancellation must be made seven full days prior to local check in time (2:00 pm) on the day of check in, otherwise no refund.
For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by Friday of the previous week before check in time.
If you cancel less than 7 days in advance, the nights not used are not refunded. If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not used are not refunded.
All apartments, townhouses & houses available are privately owned and sometimes can be withdrawn by the owners for personal reasons. If this occurs Quinovic Viaduct will offer an alternative apartment of similar quality, facilities, and value. If the tenant is not happy with the alternative offered Quinovic Viaduct will refund the rent in full, as long as the booking is cancelled prior to occupation.
The occupier will be given occupation no sooner than 2.00 pm on the date of occupation and the occupier agrees to vacate the premises no later than 10.00 am on the date of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with Quinovic Viaduct.
After the booking has been confirmed keys, electronic swipes and introductory letters are to be collected on the day of arrival from Quinovic Viaduct's office at 10 Hobson Street which is open Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Special arrangements can be made for after hours and weekend collection. Any delivery costs involved will be debited to the occupier's credit card unless alternative arrangements have been made with Quinovic Viaduct.
For short-term rentals, a valid photo ID and a bond up to $1500 directly with Quinovic Viaduct is required.
The occupier agrees as follows:
A. To take proper care of the apartment, to ventilate it adequately, to keep it clean and tidy, to use chattels and appliances in a proper and responsible manner and to not store any dangerous goods in the apartment nor to make alterations of any kind.
B. To be financially responsible for any loss or damage occurring during the occupation and lost or damaged keys and or access cards.
C. To abide by the Body Corporate Rules pertaining to the apartment block. Rules will be posted at the building or inside apartment.
D. To familiarise themselves with the fire evacuation scheme.
E. At the conclusion of the booking, to return all keys, remote controls and access cards.
F. To not smoke cigarettes, e-cigarettes or cigars, burn incense, or the like, in the apartment and to not permit any guest or invitee to do the same. The majority of complexes are now completely smoke free including balconies and common areas. Breaches of this condition will be subject to a spring-cleaning/deodorizing charge of up to $2000 and could result in immediate eviction.
G. The occupier agrees not to keep, feed, allow or permit any other person to keep or feed any pet in or about the apartment, unless prior approved.
H. To not conduct any business, host a party, of any kind from the apartment nor to adversely interfere with the quiet enjoyment of the other apartment/townhouse dwellers.
I. That should we receive a complaint from another apartment/townhouse dweller, building manager, or our cleaners, which we regard as fair and reasonable, this will result in an eviction from the property without compensation, nor we will be held responsible to accommodate the tenant in alternative accommodation.
J. That the term involved is for a fixed term and cannot be terminated by notice.
